MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Highlighted by 10 teams with a 3.0 grade-point average, the Auburn University at Montgomery athletic department posted a 3.37 cumulative GPA for the Spring 2024 semester.
Forty-eight Warhawks landed on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll and 105 earned a spot on the Provost's Honor Roll -- additionally, 49 student-athletes turned in a perfect 4.0 GPA for the spring term.
The AUM softball team again led the way with a 3.76 GPA. Volleyball (3.66), men's soccer (3.64), women's cross country (3.62), and women's soccer (3.32) rounded out the top five Warhawk teams. Women's basketball (3.19), men's basketball (3.18), women's tennis (3.12), men's cross country (3.08), and baseball (3.00) also successfully posted a 3.0 or better GPA.
The Warhawks placed nine student-athletes on their respective Gulf South Conference All-Academic teams and 18 earned a spot on a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® team.
Men's soccer player
William Blake earned Second Team Scholar All-American honors from the United Soccer Coaches as the department's lone academic All-American.
