MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks women's soccer team (1-5-2, GSC: 0-3-2) battled hard but came up short in Gulf South Conference action Sunday afternoon, 1-0, to the University of West Alabama Tigers (5-2-2, GSC: 2-2-1) at the AUM Soccer Complex.
Paula Galan Revuelta led the AUM attack with two shots and one shot on goal.
Chloe Wallace and
Aoibheann Rankin provided the other two shots for the Warhawks.
Karla Guzman-Ortiz posted six saves against seven shots faced from West Alabama.
The match's lone goal came in the 53rd minute when Selis Demirci found the back of the net.

AUM returns to action Friday, October 10, at 5 p.m. against the University of West Florida. The Warhawks will highlight Mental Health Awareness during the contest at the AUM Soccer Complex.
