MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team (1-2, 1-0) opened up GSC play with a win over West Alabama (2-3, 0-2) 4-3, on Sunday.
 
The Warhawks fell behind early after dropping the doubles point to the Tigers but came from behind to win four singles contests to get the win. 
 
DOUBLES 
 

• AUM was swept in the doubles contest 7-6, 7-5 and 6-3, respectively.  

SINGLES

• The Warhawks took four of the six singles matches as Giuseppe Bonaiuti, Dominik Vonbank, Raphael Pertusier and Mark Nawa edged their matchups against West Alabama. 
• Bonaiuti won 4-6, 7-5 and 7-6.
• Vonbank won 6-3 and 6-0
• Pertusier won 7-5, 4-6 and 7-6.
• Nawa won 7-5 and 7-5.
