MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Auburn University at Montgomery Women's Basketball (11-13, 9-10) fell to Alabama Huntsville (21-5, 16-4) on Thursday night, 73-53.
In the first quarter, the Warhawks struggled offensively and shot just 26% from the field and were held to 11 points.
The Warhawks cut the Chargers lead to just nine in the second quarter at 36-27. AUM's was led by freshman,
Tamora Brown with seven points in the first half.
UAH extended their lead to open the second half shooting 53% and knocked down three, 3-pointers. AUM scored just 23 second half points and was unable to overcome the early deficit.
The Warhawks were led by
Allasha Dudley with 13 points and Brown added 10 points off the bench.
As a team, AUM shot 30% from the field and 5-16 from behind the arc.
AUM will host West Alabama for senior night on Saturday.
