HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Auburn University at Montgomery Women's Basketball (12-16, 10-13) season came to an end Tuesday night after a 76-57 loss to the No. 2 seed Alabama Huntsville (24-5, 18-4) in the first round of the GSC Tournament.
Allasha Dudley led AUM offensively with 22 points and played all 40 minutes of the game. The Montgomery, Alabama native ends her career with 1,610 points for fifth all-time in program history and two First Team All-Conference selections.
Danielle Luckey recorded her 100
th career block in the season finale. She is third all-time in AUM women's basketball program history.
UAH knocked down four, 3-pointers in the first quarter to jump out to a nine-point lead early on. AUM would close the gap by outscoring the Chargers in the second 16-14.
In the first half, the Warhawks were led by two scorers in double figures.
Allasha Dudley had 12 points and
Carrington Jones had 11.
Out of the break, UAH opened the game up and outscored AUM 23-9. The Chargers were 7-9 from the free throw line in the third, the Warhawks were unable to reach the line.
AUM outscored UAH in the fourth but was unable to overcome the early deficit out of halftime.
The Warhawks season would come to an end with a 57-76 loss on the road at Alabama Huntsville in the first round of the GSC Tournament.
