INDIANAPOLIS - Auburn University at Montgomery softball student-athlete Lexi Love and women's basketball student-athlete Danielle Luckey have both been awarded the NCAA Division II Degree Completion Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The NCAA established the Division II Degree Completion Award Program in 2001 to provide deserving student-athletes with financial assistance for them to complete their first baccalaureate degree. Candidates will be students who have exhausted their athletics eligibility.

Love is currently pursuing a degree in Collaborative Teaching and Luckey is studying Kinesiology. Both Warhawks are planning to graduate in December 2025.

To be nominated, applicants must be within 36 semester hours, or 54 quarter hours, of completion of an undergraduate degree. They must also meet the institution's standard for good academic standing and must use the award to complete the first undergraduate degree requirements from the institution where the student-athlete exhausted his or her athletics eligibility.

Love is currently the starting catcher on the softball team that is competing in the NCAA Super Regional. The fourth-year player from Tallassee, Alabama has 168 games with 151 starts. She has a .280 batting average with 12 home runs and 84 RBI.

Luckey completed her 2-year career as a Warhawk in March, appearing in 52 games with 49 starts. She averaged 9.1 points per game over her two seasons with 472 career points. The standout from Pensacola, Florida also grabbed 496 rebounds and blocked 100 shots.

They are the sixth and seventh AUM recipients of the award in the past four years.Past AUM recipients include:
