MONTGOMERY, ALA. – Auburn University at Montgomery's Volleyball team was one of 1,450 collegiate and high school volleyball teams that maintained a year-long grade point average of at least 3.3 or better to earn the
2025 AVCA Team Academic Award.
"I'm incredibly proud of our team's outstanding academic performance this past school year, AUM head coach Craig Kase said. "Their dedication and hard work in the classroom are truly commendable. This achievement speaks volumes about our program's commitment to excellence both on and off the court, and it's a testament to our players' well-rounded success."
The Warhawks finished out the spring semester with a 3.73 team GPA.
The Warhawks will return six players from the 2024 roster and welcome in six newcomers and five freshman to the 2025 roster.
Kendall McCain returns for her senior season and ended the 2024 season with 273 kills. She currently sits top-5 for AUM career kills with 663.
Taylor Lewis is also set to return after she recorded 262 digs in her sophomore season in 2024.
AUM brings in Montgomery native,
Addi Vinson for her freshman season. Vinson was an All-State setter and the Alabama 6A Player of the Year.
Kiarra Vega comes to AUM for her senior year from St. Leo University. Vega has recorded 1928 career assists in her college career to go along with 619 digs.
Anyaliz Rodriguez also comes to AUM from St. Leo and Rodriguez bring in 910 career kills headed into her senior year for the Warhawks. The St. Leo duo add a wealth of experience to the 2025 roster.
