SAVANNAH, GA. - The Auburn University at Montgomery women's golf team continues their spring season at the Tiger Spring Invitational. The event was hosted by Savannah State University at the Crosswinds Golf Course in Savannah, Georgia.
Ashley Nelson led the way for the Warhawks, carding a 148 (+4) through the first two rounds to finish the day tied for first place.
Hailey Westmoreland tied for 13th after posting a 161 (+17) over two rounds.
Aubrie Medford followed with a 165 (+21) across the first two rounds, while
Georgia Cater rounded out the group with a 179 (+35). The Warhawks wrapped up the day in 5th place in the team standings.
The tournament will conclude with the third round on Tuesday, March 10.
