MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The NCAA released its second ranked edition of the South Regional poll on Wednesday evening, with the Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks softball team holding strong at No. 2.
AUM holds a 42-9 overall record (after beating West Alabama in post season earlier today, which was not counted in regional voting) and earned the third seed in the 2026 GSC Championship with a 24-9 conference mark.
The Warhawks have remained a consistent presence in the NFCA top 10 throughout the season, climbing as high as No. 1 nationally. The orange and black currently sit at No. 8 in the latest NFCA Division II poll.
The NCAA will unveil its third and final regional rankings next Wednesday, declaring where the orange and black will stand before the NCAA South Regional Tournament.
