KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches released the latest edition of its 2026 NCAA Division II men's soccer poll Tuesday, with the Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks ranked No. 10 in the nation and No. 1 in the South Region.
 
The Warhawks moved up one spot nationally from No. 11 in last week's poll and climbed to the top spot in the South Region after being ranked No. 2 in each of the first two regional rankings of the season.
 
The Warhawks opened Gulf South Conference play with a 1-0 victory over Lee on Saturday. AUM controlled much of the match, recording 21 shots and 10 corner kicks while limiting the Flames to six shots. Alan De Paula scored the game-winning goal in the 57th minute, while Jakob Buhrkuhl made two saves to preserve the shutout. The victory moved the Warhawks to 4-1-0 overall and 1-0-0 in GSC play.
 
AUM's No. 1 ranking in the South Region marks the first time this season the Warhawks have held the top spot in the regional rankings after opening the season ranked No. 2 in the region.
 
 



UP NEXT
The Warhawks are back in action on Wednesday, September 16 with a road battle in Moblie, Alabama. Kickoff against Spring Hill is set for 3:30 p.m.
