Anthony Komara has announced the 2026-27 schedule, featuring a challenging non-conference slate before a full 20-game Gulf South Conference schedule.
COACH KOMARA'S COMMENTS
"We put together a challenging non-conference schedule to open the season that we believe will help prepare us for conference play. The GSC is one of the top basketball leagues in the nation, and we will have to be ready to play every single night. Our guys have been working extremely hard this fall, and our team is excited for the opportunity to get better and grow together as the 2026-2027 season approaches."
The Warhawks will begin the season on Monday, Nov. 9, traveling to Columbus State. The Warhawks will then face Savannah State and North Georgia on Nov. 13-14 in Dahlonega, Ga., before returning home to host Georgia Southern-East on Wednesday, Nov. 18, and Selma on Saturday, Nov. 21.
AUM will close November with three games on the road, traveling to Georgia Southwestern and Florida Tech in Melbourne, Fla., on Nov. 24-25 before facing NCAA Division I opponent UAB in an exhibition game in Birmingham on Friday, Nov. 27.
The Warhawks will open GSC play on Thursday, Dec. 3, at Lee before traveling to Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday, Dec. 5. AUM will host Valdosta State on Thursday, Dec. 10, before closing the pre-holiday portion of the schedule with road games at UAH and West Alabama on Dec. 17 and 19.
AUM returns from the holiday break to host Point University on Wednesday, Dec. 30, before opening the new year with a four-game homestand against Montevallo, Christian Brothers, and Union from Jan. 2-9.
The Warhawks will then hit the road for games at Delta State and Mississippi Christian on Jan. 14 and 16 before returning home to host Trevecca Nazarene and Lee on Jan. 21 and 23.
AUM will close January at Valdosta State on Saturday, Jan. 30, before beginning February with home contests against West Alabama and UAH on Feb. 4 and 6.
The regular season concludes with five more games in February, including road contests at Montevallo, Union and Christian Brothers. The Warhawks will close the regular season at home with games against Mississippi Christian on Wednesday, Feb. 24, and Delta State on Friday, Feb. 26.
The 2027 GSC Championship is scheduled for March 1-7, while the NCAA Regional Championship is slated for March 12-16.
All home games will be played at the AUM Athletics Complex.
