2017 [Sophomore]: Saw action in 95 sets over 30 matches… Set the program’s season record in service aces per set (0.24) while finishing second in service aces (23) and fifth in digs (162) and digs per set (1.71)… eclipsed double-digit digs once, setting per personal-best with 10 at Christian Brothers on Oct. 11… Served multiple aces on five occasions, capped by a career-high five at Christian Brothers… named to Gulf South Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to AUM: One-year letterwinner at Gulf Coast State College, playing for head coach Kristian Robertson... finished fourth on the team in digs (177), digs per set (2.49), service aces (14) and service aces per set (0.20). The 5-foot-4 libero contributed double-digit digs for the Commodores seven times throughout the season, setting a season-high of 22 against Indian River State.

Prep: Three-year letterwinner at A. Crawford Mosley, playing for head coach Michelle Mask... holds program record for the most digs in a career (1,102)... named First Team All-County as a senior as well as being named MVP Magazine Top 5 Student-Athlete of 2016... guided the Dolphins to the FHSAA 5A District Championship as a junior, with two more titles coming from basketball and softball...in basketball, ranks in the top-10 of the program record book for career 3-pointers (131), scoring (737), assists (242) and steals (212)

Personal: Born Kiana Kalena Su Lan Yangson on September 4, 1998... daughter of Durand and Karen Yangson... has two older brothers, Billie and Kaleb... has two cousins who have played proffesionally, Kotlen Wong with the St. Louis Cardinals and Ka'imi Fairbairn with the Houston Texans... majoring in biology.
