PREP: Was a four-year letterwinner for Head Coach Rick Patterson at Hueytown High School in Hueytown, Ala.…was named all-state as an outfielder and a pitcher, in addition to being named all-metro as a utility player…earned Pitcher of the Year honors as a senior, a year in which he posted a 7-2 record…holds the Hueytown High School record with 31 career wins.
