Micah Henderson enters his second season as the graduate assistant baseball coach for Auburn University at Montgomery.

Henderson, a former standout for the AUM baseball program, works with the pitching staff for the Warhawks. Henderson was a 2020 GSC Spring Academic Honor Roll recipient and made 36 appearances with 29 total starts in his AUM career. 

He posted a 12-8 overall record and logged 161 innings for the black and orange with 96 strikeouts against 62 walks. He registered two complete games, one shutout, and one save. Henderson went 6-4 in 13 starts with a 4.12 earned run average in 2021 for the Warhawks with 55 strikeouts and just 22 walks in 78.2 innings pitched and helped the Warhawks to the No. 8 seed in the Gulf South Conference tournament. 

Henderson also played for two seasons for head coach Frank Elliot at Wallace Community College of Selma. 

A Prattville High School product, Henderson is the son of Mike Henderson and Kathy Godwin.
