2022-2023: Named to the GSC Winter Academic Honor Roll...helped the Warhawks to the school's second-ever postseason berth as an NCAA Division II member as the No. 6 seed in the GSC tournament...serves as AUM Student-Athlete Advisory Committee president…appeared in four games…started his lone game of the season, scored two points and had one rebound and one assist on Senior Night against Montevallo (2.25).

2021-22: Did not play due to injury.

2020-21: Named to the 2020-21 GSC Winter Academic Honor Roll…made an appearance in four contests over an injury-shortened season…totaled 14 minutes of action on the court…tallied three points and a pair of rebounds.

2019-20: Named to the 2019-20 GSC Winter Academic Honor Roll…made an appearance in eight contests, tallying 18 total minutes of work…saw four minutes of action in three different games…recorded six points and four assists.

PREP: Spent his prep career at Hewitt-Trussville HS in Trussville, Ala.…was a 7A All-Area selection his senior season…averaged 12.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.4 steals per contest as a senior.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Jaxon Tyre Hunter…was born on Feb. 22, 2001…is the son of Cedric and Tonya Hunter…has a younger sister, Jordan…majoring in business management…his mother played collegiate basketball at the University of West Georgia, and his father played collegiately at Southwest Mississippi Community College…his cousin, Kelvin Tolbert, played collegiately at Michigan State from 2002-05 and was a McDonald’s All-American in 2001.
