2017 [Freshman]: Competed in all six events … Finished 32nd in his collegiate debut at the JSU Struts opener with a 5K time of 17:06.20 … Recorded a personal record 8K at the Furman Classic with a time of 27:43.20 … Ended the year with an 82nd place finish and a 28:28.77 8K time at the Gulf South Conference Invitational.
