CAREER ACCOLADES & RECORDS:

• Owns the eighth-fastest 10K time in school history (33:26.8 - 2023 NCAA South Region Championships)
• Holds the sixth-fastest four-mile time in program history (21:41.69 - 9/4/21)

2023: Helped lead AUM to a fifth-place team finish at the GSC Championships…part of a squad that made six appearances in USTFCCCA’s weekly South Region rankings and finished the year ranked No. 8 in the region…also helped lead AUM to its highest-ever finish at the NCAA South Region Championships (8th)…raced in all six competitions for AUM…ran a 16:57 5K, his college-best, at the Foothills Invitational…broke 27 minutes on three different occasions for the Warhawks.

2022: Raced in all six competitions for the Warhawks...helped AUM to a sixth-place finish at the Gulf South Conference Championships and an 11th-place finish at the NCAA Division II South Regional meet...ran 8K and 10K personal records for the Warhawks, as he posted an 8K time of 26:26.9 a the University of Alabama in Huntsville Division II Festival Year Showcase and a 10K time of 34:14 at the NCAA South Region race...sits in sixth-place on AUM's 10K performance list.

2021: Ran in all six meets for AUM…began the year by posting the sixth-best four-mile time in program history (21:41.69) at the CBU Memphis Twilight on Sept. 4…finished a season-high eighth at the Falcon Classic on Sept. 17 while logging an AUM personal-best 8K time of 26:38.10 at the GSC Championship on Oct. 23.

2020: Was named to the 2020 GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll...competed in two meets for AUM…posted a season-best time of 31:15.80, good enough for 45th place, at the John Doc Anderson Invite on Sept. 26.

2019:

PREP: Attended Valley High School in Valley, Ala., where he ran cross country and track for coaches Travis Engram and Tim Campbell...was named All-State in 2018 and finished 14th overall at the state meet that season...he earned four letters for cross country and two for track.

PERSONAL: The son of Alan Pigg and Jenny Smith, Patrick has one sister, Whitleigh Bright...member of the Beta Club and volunteers at Langdale United Methodist Church.
