Krueger was part of the coaching staff that won NFCA South Region Coaching Staff of the Year. The Warhawks went 47-14 and reached the NCAA Division II Softball Championships for the second time in program history.

Krueger, who was announced as the program's new assistant coach in the summer of 2022, played for the Warhawks from 2017 through 2021.

During her time as a Warhawk, Krueger led the Warhawks during their transition from NAIA to NCAA DII status. Throughout her five seasons at AUM, the Warhawks compiled a stunning 144-58 record on the field and accomplished many firsts as an NCAA DII program.

With Krueger's leadership behind the plate, AUM netted its first-ever Gulf South Conference regular season and postseason championship and saw its first action in the NCAA tournament. The Warhawks also captured a two-game sweep of No. 1-ranked North Georgia in April of 2021.

The Missouri native concluded her five-year playing career with a .275 average and compiled 14 home runs, 104 RBIs, and caught 39 runners trying to steal a base. A regular on the GSC Academic Honor Roll, Krueger was an academic standout all five years as a Warhawk.

After graduating with an economics degree in 2020 from AUM, Krueger gained experience officiating youth softball games and remained current with NCAA, USSSA, PG, USA, and PGF league expectations.

In addition to being a skills coach and a full-time collegiate softball player, Krueger also aided the grounds crew with the preparation of both practice and game field maintenance and performed other landscaping duties across AUM's campus.
