Brady Thomas enters his first season as a graduate assistant with the Auburn University at Montgomery cross country program prior to the 2025-26 season after completing a successful career as a student-athlete with the Warhawks.
 

In his first season as a graduate assistant, Thomas helped guide the Warhawks to a program-best eighth-place finish at the NCAA South Region Championships on the men’s side while also contributing to a fourth-place finish at the Gulf South Conference Championships. He also assisted with the women’s program as the team recorded a program-record 10th-place finish at the NCAA South Regionals and posted multiple personal records at the GSC Conference Championships.
 

Thomas competed for the Warhawks from 2021-23 and was a key contributor to AUM’s success at the conference and regional levels. He helped lead the Warhawks to a fifth-place finish at the 2023 Gulf South Conference Championships as part of a squad that made six appearances in the USTFCCCA South Region rankings and finished the season ranked No. 8 in the region. Thomas appears twice on AUM’s all-time performance lists, holding the ninth-fastest four-mile time in program history (22:03.25) and the eighth-fastest 10K time in school history (34:38). He also posted multiple sub-27-minute 8K performances, ran a collegiate-best 5K time of 16:31.2, and earned multiple selections to the Gulf South Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.
