Biography

2023: During Bedwan's senior campaign, he posted a 15-7 overall record in singles action at the second and third courts ... Bedwan held an impressive 8-1 record in GSC singles matches ... He went 15-8 in doubles matches with Adrian Contreras and Giuseppe Bonaiuti on courts one and two ... He took home First-Team All-GSC honors ... He was also named to the 2023 Academic All-District® Men's Tennis Team ... Earned GSC Player of the Week honors once ... Earned a ranking on No. 72 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Singles Rankings ... Helped lead the Warhawks to the programs first appearance in the NCAA South Regional after pushing AUM to the GSC Tournament Championship match ... Named to the 2023 GSC All-Academic Team ... Earned a spot on the GSC Honor Roll.

2022: Appeared in 16 singles matches for the Orange & Black ... Held a 7-9 record in singles matches ... Had a 4-7 record in the first position and had a 3-2 record while playing at the second position ... Was 4-4 in conference matches ... Held a 7-11 record in doubles matches ... Played with David Rieme, David Mules, Jonathan Judy-Hansen, and Nino Portugal. 

2021: Played in 15 singles matches for the Warhawks in his first full season wearing the Orange & Black… compiled a 6-9 record for AUM playing exclusively out of the first position… was ranked inside the top-50 for the majority of the 2021 season… had four wins in singles action against Gulf South Conference teams… had a 9-6 doubles record for the Warhawks, including a 6-3 record in GSC play and an 8-2 finish to the season… in his first appearance in the GSC postseason, he went 2-0 in doubles play.

2020: Played all seven of his contests in the first slot for the Warhawks… went 4-3 on the year in singles play, earning wins against UT Tyler, Shorter, Young Harris and Spring Hill… excelled in doubles play with a 5-2 record… took down #11 Lynn and #19 Valdosta State in doubles action… was named the ITA South Region Rookie of The Year.

PRIOR TO AUM: Attended Chapman Christian Academy in Millbrook, Ala. … played tennis for the United States Tennis Association for four years, where he represented the State of Alabama and competed against other state representatives … reached the number 18 ranking in all of the southeast.
