Lex McInroy enters her first season as the Assistant Volleyball Coach for AUM. She was announced on August 15, 2024.
"We are excited to bring Lex in as our new assistant coach," Case said. "She is a high-quality person and we are thrilled to have her join us. She is a former student-athlete and her time coaching in Montgomery has prepared her for this."
McInroy was a member of the Faulkner University volleyball team where she was a outside and right-side hitter from 2019-2022. She had over 400 kills and 753 digs in her four-year career. In 2022, she was named to the Southern States Athletic Conference Second Team.
After her playing career, McInroy began coaching volleyball at Capital City Juniors Volleyball Club in Montgomery, Alabama since 2021. She worked summer camps, instructed group and individual practices, and planned team camps for high schools in the River Region.
"I want to thank Director of Athletics Erik Maas and Head Coach Craig Case for this great opportunity to be a part of the Warhawk family," McInroy said. "I am looking forward to working with Coach Case and learning more about how to be a successful mentor and coach. AUM offers optimal opportunities for student-athletes to be successful on the court and in the classroom. I am very excited to start this journey and am looking forward to working with Coach Case and continuing to build this program!"
She is originally from Fairhope, Alabama and played volleyball and basketball at Fairhope High School.
