2017 [Junior]: Appeared in 14 sets over 10 matches… finished the season with six kills, five blocks and three digs… recorded one kill in six different matches… boasted two blocks twice; against Tuskegee on Sept. 2 and at Albany State on Sept. 7… named to Gulf South Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to AUM: Two-year letterwinner at Lawson State Community College, playing under head coach Aubrey Wiley… finished her sophomore campaign with the second-most solo blocks in the Alabama Community College Conference (49) while ranking sixth in total blocks (75), seventh in hitting percentage (.295) and 10^th in kills (204)… helped the Cougars finish the 2016 season with the 10^th-most solo blocks in the NJCAA with 152…. Named ACCC All-Tournament Team as a sophomore…. Also played basketball for one year.
 
Prep: Three-year letterwinner at Weaver High School, playing under Casey Maples… named All-Area as a sophomore and senior with All-County accolades as a senior… also lettered in basketball, track & field plus softball... named All-Area and All-County in basketabll as a senior.

Personal: Born Keara Shamara Scott on May 4, 1997... daughter of William and Marche Scott... has two older brothers, Keland and Kalem... majoring in early childhood education.
