NASHVILLE, Tenn. ----- The Auburn Montgomery men's basketball team fell on the road to Trevecca Nazarene University 82-71 Saturday afternoon, despite having three players finish in double-figures.
NOTES
• The Warhawks fell to 4-15 on the year.
• The Trojans improved to 6-12 on the season.
• Three different Warhawks finished in double-digits.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
•
Desmond DeRamus led all scorers with 25 points on the night. He added seven rebounds, four assists and two steals as well with a perfect 3-for-3 outing from behind the arc.

Darrion Taylor finished with 17 in the game on five three-pointers. He also picked up four rebounds, four assists and a steal as well.
•
Romoane Eager was the final Warhawk to finish in double-digits with 11 points. He added five rebounds and an assist.
• Devin Whitfield (23), Jacob Williams (13), Donovan Donaldson (11), Percy Blade (10) and Nick Anyang (10) all finished in double-digits for Trevecca.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• AUM started the game on a 14-0 run through the first five minutes of the opening half, which was capped off by a layup from Taylor.
• The Warhawks held a 14-point advantage over the Trojans with 14:25 remaining after a jumper from Eager, as they lead 19-5.
• Trevecca tied the game at 24 with 8:50 remaining in the first half after a 19-5 run over a five minute span, which came after a dunk from Whitfield.
• The Trojans tallied their first lead of the game at the 8:17 mark on a layup from Petty, and extended their lead to six (30-24) after a layup from Williams with 6:15 on the clock.
• A jumper from Bryant ended the cold spellf or the Warhawks with 5:43 on the clock, however the Trojans would jump out to a 12 point lead (41-29) after a jumper from Petty with 1:17 remaining.
• Trevecca lead AUM 41-31 at the break, after a layup from Ferguson went in for the Warhawks.
• The Trojans opened up the second half holding on to a double-digit lead, but the Warhawks brought the game to within nine (49-40) after a three from DeRamus with 16:36 remaining in the game.
• Trevecca regained the double-digit advantage, and jumped out to a game-high 16 (69-53) after a pair of free-throws from Whitfield with 5:32 remaining in the half.
• AUM finished the game on an 18-13 scoring run, however would fall to Trevecca 82-71 on the road.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• AUM converted 41.9 percent of its shots for the contest. The Warhawks also hit 9-of-15 free throw attempts.
• The Trojans converted 47.6 percent of their shots, hitting 14-of-21 from the charity stripe.
• The Trojans held a 40-36 advantage on the glass, however the Warhawks took a 24-21 edge on the defensive boards. AUM converted 17 second-chance points, while Trevecca picked up 7.
• AUM converted 16 points off 15 Trevecca turnovers. The Trojans managed 21 points off turnovers.
• Trevecca held a 34-28 advantage in the paint.
