MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer team will play its final two home games of 2017 this weekend, hosting Lee University on Friday and Shorter University on Sunday in Gulf South Conference play at the AUM Soccer Complex.

About the Warhawks
AUM is currently 0-12 on the year, with a 0-5 mark in the GSC. The Warhawks are coming off of a setback to Union on Sunday, in a contest that saw AUM get a season-high three goals in the contest. The Bulldogs were able to score a pair of late goals to upend the Warhawks, 5-3, in the match, with
Tiuri Schieving and
Sverrir Smarason picking up their first goals of the season.
Simon Van Rheeden picked up his second goal of the season, and now leads the team in goals and points (five) on the year.
The Warhawks dropped a 6-0 decision to Lee last season, and last played Shorter during the 2010 season, a 3-1 setback for AUM.

Nino Bozesan,
Stephen Ingram,
Talal Salameh and
Christian Young will be honored before Sunday's game against the Hawks, as the four Warhawks will be playing their final game at the AUM Soccer Complex.
About the Flames
Lee is currently fifth in the GSC with an overall record of 4-4-3 and a league mark of 3-3-1. The Flames are coming off of a 0-0 draw against West Florida on Saturday, having fallen to Spring Hill College by the final of 2-1 on Friday evening.
Alfie Coldron and Drew Jackson lead the team offensively, with each recording two goals and an assist on the season. Jackson leads the team in shots with 30 (nine on goal). Tristen Putnam has started all 11 games in goal for the Flames, and has allowed only eight goals on the season.
About the Hawks
Shorter is currently 3-8 on the year with a 2-4 mark in the GSC. The Hawks have lost 3-of-4, and are coming off of a 3-2 setback to West Florida on Friday evening. Shorter was scheduled to host Spring Hill on Saturday but that game was postponed due to inclement weather.
Three players have tallied six points on the season for the Hawks, with Jordan Etsio recording a team-best three goals. Felix Guljosa and Justen Macias each have two goals and two assists.
The Hawks will play GSC opponent Montevallo on Friday before traveling to Montgomery to take on the Warhawks.
Up Next
The Warhawks will travel to Delta State University on Friday, Oct. 20, to take on the Statesmen at Delta Field. The game will be the first of a two-game road trip, as AUM will take on Mississippi College on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 3 p.m. on the campus of the Choctaws.
