Women’s Basketball Hosts Spring Hill College On Tuesday

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery women's basketball team begins a four-game, 2017-ending homestand on Tuesday, Dec. 12 against Spring Hill College in a 6 p.m. contest.

AUM (4-3, 1-1 GSC) returns to the friendly confines of the AUM Gymnasium after a 59-46 exhibition loss at Samford on Saturday, Dec. 9. The Warhawks average 51.6 points, 34.0 rebounds, 12.4 assists, 9.0 steals and 3.0 blocks.
 
Junior guard/forward Jemaiya Lee leads the Warhawks in points and rebounds with marks of 11.1 and 6.4, respectively, while redshirt-senior guard Kyla Rooks dishes out a team-high 3.3 assists. Junior guard/forward Evelina Avleeva chips in 11.0 points with a team-best 2.7 steals per game and redshirt-sophomore center Bailee Wolfe denies a team-leading 1.3 shots per contest.
 
About the Badgers
Spring Hill College (7-2, 1-0 SIAC) makes the trip to Montgomery after besting William Carey University 71-68 in a road contest on Saturday, Dec. 9. The Badgers average 74.7 points, 35.8 rebounds, 16.3 assists, 7.6 steals and 3.3 blocks.
 
Jewel Hill paces the Badgers with 19.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 1.1 blocks, all team-highs, while Jennifer Clark dishes out 5.7 assists.
