MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Freshman guard
Makaylla Bullard scored 13 of the Auburn Montgomery women's basketball team's 22 points in the fourth quarter on Tuesday evening, propelling the Warhawks to a 66-59 victory over the visiting Spring Hill College Badgers.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Junior guard/forward
Evelina Avleeva led both teams in scoring and rebounds with 17 and 10, respectively, for her first double-double of the season.
• Bullard finished the contest with a career-high 15 points, going 5-9 from the field.

Jemaiya Lee scored 15 points.
• Sophomore guard
Aaliyah Milord chipped in 11 points while dishing out a game-high seven assists.
• For Spring Hill, Jewel Hill scored 15 points while Angel Carthen pulled down eight rebounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The two sides exchanged the opening 24 points of the contests, seeing a 12-all score before a 13-2 run by Spring Hill to end the quarter gave the visitors a 25-14 advantage.
• AUM outscored Spring Hill 15-7 in the second quarter, using a 6-0 run over a 4:46 stretch late in the frame to cut the deficit to three at 30-27. SHC connected on a pair of free throws with 14 seconds left in the half to recreate a five-point separation, but a Milord layup as time expired made it 32-29 at the intermission.
• Spring Hill College began the second half with an 8-3 stretch, creating an eight-point advantage at 40-32. The Warhawks countered with a 10-3 rally to make it a one-possession game at 45-42, only for a pair of free throws by Spring Hill making it a five-point contest. The two sides split the final four points, keeping keeping the separation at five, 49-44.
• The Badgers kicked off the final frame with back-to-back points, creating a nine-point lead before an 11-2 AUM run propelled the Warhawks to a 56-55 advantage. SHC responded with a basket to flip the lead, but eight-straight points by AUM gave the hosts a seven-point lead at 64-57 with 22 seconds left. Overall, AUM outscored Spring Hill College 22-10 in the final frame.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• The Warhawks converted on 24-62 shots, going 6-19 from three-point territory and 12-15 from the free throw line.
• Spring Hill finished 22-50 from the field, 4-16 from distance and 11-16 from the free throw line.
• AUM recorded 19 assists versus 10 for SHC.
• AUM committed nine turnovers, resulting in four Spring Hill points. The Badgers committed 20 turnovers, leading to 17 points.
• The Badgers held a 38-30 advantage in rebounds.
