ROME, Ga. ---- The Auburn Montgomery men's tennis team cruised to a shutout victory over Shorter University Wednesday at the Walt Attaway Tennis Center.
With the win, the Warhawks improved to 4-1 overall, while the Hawks fell to 1-3 on the year.
AUM posted three convincing wins in doubles play, dropping just five games en route to a 3-0 lead.
In singles play, the Warhawks faired equally well, as

Francisco Mendieta,
Alvaro Terron,
Birkir Gunnarsson and
Santiago Veglia all won in straight sets.
Matias Destefanis completed the sweep with a come-from-behind, three-set victory at the top position.
The Warhawks will return to action on Wednesday, March 1, when they take on William Carey in Mobile, Ala. The match is slated to begin at 9:30 a.m.
