DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Auburn University at Montgomery Warhawks men's tennis team opened its 2026 fall season at the UNG Fall Invitational, competing against players from Columbus State, Lenoir-Rhyne, Young Harris, and host UNG. Guillermo Vedia Sanchez, Eric Moeller, Harry McDonagh, Nicholas Gameiro Ros, Jules Moucquot, Romeo Bertrand, Antoine De Vedrines and Tim Stemler all saw action in singles and/or doubles competition.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
Romeo Bertrand and Antoine De Vedrines won their first-round doubles draw in Flight C, taking down Lenoir-Rhyne's Connor Donley and Tommaso Monforte, 7-5. They advanced to the semifinals where they faced Converse's Mathis Blary and Manuel Roncero, and won 6-4 to move on to the finals. The rookie tandem was able to hold off Columbus State's Barnabas Sift and Arthur Colson, 6-4, to win their draw.
 
Despite losing their first-round match to Columbus State's Hugo Didier and Enzo Mauriet-Fillol, 6-4, Harry McDonagh and Eric Moeller beat Lenoir-Rhyne's Hudson Spencer and Peter-Sebastian Puaschitz, 6-3 to advance to the consolation finals. AUM's duo was able to pick up a 6-3 win over Converse's James Hardy and Patrick Flood.
 
In singles, Tim Stemler, Romeo Bertrand, Jules Moucquot, and Nicholas Gameiro Ros each won their first-round matches. Due to inclement weather singles matches were left unfinished.
