BOCA RATON, Fla. ---- The Auburn Montgomery women's tennis team suffered just its second loss of the season Monday, as it fell to No. 3 Lynn University 5-0 at the Perper Tennis Complex.
 
The loss dropped the Warhawks improved to 8-2 on the season, while the Fighting Knights remained undefeated at 10-0 on the year.
 
For the first time this season, AUM did not collect a victory in doubles play. The Warhawks No. 2 duo of Kelly Southwood and Celine Lenertz, as well as the No. 3 tandem of Iris Verweij and Alejandra Gil each fell 8-2. At the top spot, Anna Rudolfova and Paula Diaz were tripped up 8-3.
 
In singles, the Fighting Knights clinched the victory with straight-set singles victories at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
 
The Warhawks return to action Tuesday, March 14, when they take on North Georgia in Orlando, Fla. The match is slated to begin at 12 p.m.
