• After Chandler was hit by a pitch and subsequently stole second,

• AUM would not hold the lead long as the Golden Rams tied the game in the next half inning. With runners on the corners and two outs, Roulhac singled up the middle to tie the game. The run however, was unearned.
• The game would remain tied until the bottom of the eighth, when the AUM offense erupted for five runs.Â
Parker Moman led off the inning with a single,
Michael Tedford and Chandler walked to load the bases. After Langley flew out to the shallow part of right field, and the runners held. The next hitter, Flynn walked to give the Warhawks the lead with two outs. On 3-2, Johnson was hit by a pitch to double the lead. A batter later, Smith provided his infield single to make it a 7-4 ballgame. Then a single by Cosby drove in two more runs and the Warhawks had a comfortable lead heading to the ninth.
