Men’s Tennis Wins Seventh Straight with 6-3 Victory over Middle Georgia

MACON, Ga. ---- Despite playing with just five players, the Auburn Montgomery men's tennis team earned its seventh consecutive victory with a 6-3 win over Middle Georgia State University Friday.

With the win, the Warhawks improved to 12-6 on the season, while the Knights fell to 8-7 overall.

AUM dropped the point at the No. 3 doubles position by default, but was still able to secure a 2-1 advantage following the doubles portion. Vincent Dubosclard and Santiago Veglia put the Warhawks on the board with an 8-1 win at the No. 1 position, before Francisco Mendieta and Alvaro Terron secured an 8-4 victory at the No. 2 spot.

In singles, Mendieta, Terron, Veglia and Dubosclard all secured straight-set victories to provide the final margin.
