MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The No. 20 ranked Auburn Montgomery men's tennis team powered past Gulf South Conference foe Shorter University on Wednesday afternoon at the AUM Tennis Complex, earning a 6-3 victory to stay undefeated in league play on the year.

• AUM improves to 2-1 overall this season and 2-0 in GSC play.

• No. 1 Doubles – Alvaro Terron and Francisco Jimenez (AUM) defeated Jose Moreno-Manzano and Gregoire Vincent (SU) 8-4.
• No. 2 Doubles – Eban Straker-Meads and Santiago Veglia (AUM) defeated Talha Zubair and Malik Yawar (SU) 8-2.
• No. 3 Doubles – Mason Barnette and Caleb Diller (SU) won by default.
• No. 1 Singles – Moreno-Manzano (SU) defeated Terron (AUM) 7-5, 6-3.
• No. 2 Singles – Straker-Meads (AUM) defeated Zubair (SU) 6-2, 6-2.
• No. 3 Singles – Jimenez (AUM) defeated Yawar (SU) 6-3, 6-1.
• No. 4 Singles – Veglia (AUM) defeated Vincent (SU) 6-1, 6-1.
• No. 5 Singles – Giovanni Bellio (AUM) defeated Barnette (SU) 6-0, 6-1
• No. 6 Singles – Diller (SU) won by default
