HOW IT HAPPENED

Giada Pais-Marden. The Sailfish would rebound and take a 14-10 lead after AUM was forced to take a timeout earlier in the initial set. The Warhawks would have a hard time stringing together consecutive points for the remainder of the first set and would eventually fall in the opening frame 25-20.
- The Sailfish would continue their offensive attack to start the second set, earning eight of the frame's first 11 points to take an early 8-3 lead. AUM would bounce back with three straight points thanks to kills from
Jaylyn Felder and Rhea to bring the score to 10-8. Rhea would continue to have an impressive showing in the second set, as she had critical kills to keep the deficit close for the Orange & Black. AUM would trail by as little as one point in the second set, but a run of six-straight points gave PBA an 18-11 lead, and the Sailfish would not look back as they would eventually take the second set 25-19.
- The Warhawks would find their groove to start the third set as AUM would jump out to an early 7-3 lead thanks to kills from Felder and
Ariadne Borges. The back and forth third set would continue as Palm Beach Atlantic would eventually come back to tie the game at 11 before forcing a timeout from the Warhawks. The two programs would go on to trade the next six points of the set before kills by
Nyah Whittlesey, and Nicolai made it 18-17 in favor of the Warhawks. The Sailfish would take advantage of a variety of errors from the Warhawks down the stretch to ultimately take the set 25-22 and win the match.
