MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball team suffered its second loss of the season at home on Saturday afternoon against Gulf South Conference opponent Lee by a score of 71-52.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Warhawks held the Lady Flames in check for the first five minutes of the game, earning contributions from Morales and
Jemaiya Lee keep the game close heading into the first media timeout. The Lady Flames ended the first quarter on a 19-3 run to take a 26-10 lead heading to the second quarter.
- Brewster got on the board early in the second quarter with a 3-pointer to stop the Lady Flame's run. However, her 3-pointer would only run the game to 26-13 at the time. The two teams would enter into a defensive stalemate for the next two minutes as neither side was able to find a basket. The Lady Flames got on the board with a layup midway through the second quarter and it would spark a 14-3 run to close out the first half. Lee found themselves on top at halftime with a 42-16 lead.
- The third quarter started more favorably for the Warhawks to begin the second half, as the Orange & Black were able to hold Lee to just four points through the first three minutes of action. An
Alexia Wallace layup cut the Lee lead to 46-20 with six minutes left in the quarter. Morales recorded the next five points for the Warhawks late in the third quarter, to cut the lead to 25. Lee and AUM traded scores at the end of the third quarter, but the Lady Flames took a 55-32 lead going into the final frame.
- Carter got the first two points of the fourth for the Warhawks with a pair of free throws, but her efforts were negated by a layup and a 3-pointer from the Lady Flames to extend their lead to 60-36.
Roni Richardson hit a layup of her own to record her fifth point of the night right before the media timeout with the Lady Flames leading 66-43. The Lady Flames would pull away from the Orange & Black to take the win 71-52.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
- AUM shot 35.6 % from the floor and tallied six 3-pointers on 16 shots.
- The Warhawks netted seven assists in the contest.
- The Orange & Black missed just four free throws, going 14-18.
- AUM grabbed 24 rebounds.

Sean Page. "They showed why they are the champs. I thought we had a good second half and came away from the game with some positives to take into the UAH game on Monday."

The Warhawks will continue Gulf South Conference play with a meeting against the Alabama Huntsville Chargers on Monday, Nov. 25. The game from Huntsville is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.
