HOW IT HAPPENED

- The Warhawks would use their three unanswered goals in the first half to hold off the Statesmen in half number two and secure the 3-1 win.

QUOTING THE COACH
"I'm very pleased to get three valuable points on the road," Head Coach Matthew Thorne said. "It was a very good battle with Delta State, who took the lead early. Our lads responded very well, though. We had some well-taken goals from Renan, Andy, and Tom, in addition to getting a solid defensive performance. Now we'll recover and look forward to another battle with Christian Brothers on Saturday."
