MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team snapped a seven-match losing skid with a 4-3 victory over Gulf South Conference opponent the University of Alabama in Huntsville Saturday afternoon at the AUM Tennis Complex.

-    The Warhawks improve to 4-9 in 2019, with a 2-1 mark in GSC play
-    Alabama Huntsville falls to 6-8 overall, and a 1-4 record in conference play

-    No. 1 Singles: Tonja Foessmeier defeated Stefanie Mehlich 6-2, 7-6
-    No. 2 Singles: Svenja Petri defeated Sarah Stearman 3-6, 6-2, 6-3
-    No. 3 Singles: Sofia Navarro defeated Rinata Bauzhanova 6-3, 6-3
-    No. 4 Singles: Alba De la Torre fell to Presley Thomas 4-6, 0-6
-    No. 5 Singles: Sofia Mustre fell to Karolin Kirchtag 4-6, 3-6
-    No. 6 Singles: Julia Enderink defeated Marilene Van Beek 6-3, 6-2

-    No. 1 Doubles: Navarro and Enderink fell to Kirchtag and Mehlich 3-6
-    No. 2 Doubles: Petri and Foessmeier fell to Thomas and Bauzhanova 4-6
-    No 3. Doubles: Mustre and De la Torre defeated Stearman and Mariana Lopez 6-1

UP NEXT
The Orange & Black will once again hit the road and will begin a five-match road trip starting with Division I foe Jackson State. The match is a result of a reschedule and will be played on Friday, March 29 at 2 p.m.
