MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team registered their third victory over nationally ranked opponents on Saturday afternoon with a 4-3 victory over Gulf South Conference opponent West Alabama at the AUM Tennis Complex.

• #29 AUM rises to 12-6 in 2019, and a 7-2 record in conference play
• West Alabama falls to 14-5 on the year, and a 6-3 record in GSC play

• No. 1 Singles: #21 Alvaro Terron defeated Julius Kaverinen 4-6, 6-1, 7-6
• No. 2 Singles: #45 Eban Straker-Meads fell to #63 Ilari Vesanen 4-6, 4-6
• No. 3 Singles: Francisco Jimenez fell to Ilia Dehodiuk 4-6, 6-7
• No. 4 Singles: Santiago Veglia defeated #68 Linus Holthey 6-1, 6-1
• No. 5 Singles: Jose Garcia defeated Henrik Sinkko 7-6, 6-2
• No. 6 Singles: Giovanni Bellio defeated Erik Nordblom 6-1, 6-4

 

• No. 1 Doubles: Terron and Garcia fell to #49 Kaverinen and Holthey 4-6
• No. 2 Doubles: Straker-Meads and Veglia fell to Sinkko and Vesanen 3-6
• No. 3 Doubles: Jimenez and Marcus Lind were leading Noah Johansen and Dehodiuk 6-5
