HOW IT HAPPENED
- After seeing the Eagles tally three runs in the bottom of the first inning, the Warhawks responded with five runs in the top of the second to lead 5-3. AUM took advantage of a pair of Eagle errors, a two-RBI single by Powell and an RBI groundout by Blackwell to account for the damage.
- Embry-Riddle responded in their next at-bat, however, with a two-RBI double to tie the game at 5-5.
- The Warhawks added two more runs in the third and fourth innings, with Henderson plating a run in the third and Blackwell going bridge in fourth to make it 7-5.
- AUM held onto their lead all the way to the bottom of the eighth, when the Eagles used a one-out bases-loaded walk to make it 7-6, and an RBI fielders choice with the bases juiced to make it 7-7.
- With the bases loaded and one away in the bottom of the 10th, the Eagles came through with a walk-off single through the right side to claim the extra-inning victory.
