MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team fell at home 7-0 to #15 and Gulf South Conference foe Valdosta State on Friday afternoon.
The Warhawks fall to 2-4 on the year while Valdosta State has now won all three of their contests to begin 2021. AUM is now 1-3 in GSC play while Valdosta State climbs to 2-0 on the year in conference action.
The Warhawks were unable to get much momentum going in singles or doubles play this afternoon. The lone bright spot for the Orange & Black was the doubles paring of
Joao Guariente and
Francisco Jimenez, who were able to defeat their opponent 7-6 in the third slot.
