The Warhawks would eventually score their first run of the game in the 7th, when Ceman came in to score via a UWG throwing error.
AUM would go on to tally two more runs in the seventh to make it a 6-3 game. A two-out RBI single from Armstrong, followed by an RBI base on balls from Galloway would account for the damage.

The Warhawks left a total of nine runners on base in game one and went 7-32 with runners on base.

Logan Coleman logged four strikeouts over 1.2 innings of relief work, while

Tommy Vickers both tossed a scoreless inning of relief.
The Wolves jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first, but AUM would respond with a run of their own in the next half inning on an RBI ground from Pritchett to plate C. Henderson to make it 2-1.
After tying the score in the second inning at two-all on a dropped fly ball by the Wolves, the Warhawks would surrender three runs on three hits, with one error in the top of the third, to see UWG go back on top 5-2.
AUM responded in the seventh, however, with a pair of runs from a Blackwell RBI single, and a Smelley RBI double down the left-field line to make the score 5-4 in favor of UWG.
West Georgia would go on to add an insurance run in the eighth, giving way to the 6-4 final.
The Warhawks stranded a total of 12 base runners in game two, including four innings in which two or more Warhawks were left on base.
