CLINTON, Miss. – After falling to No. 11 Delta State in their previous match, the No. 19 Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team defeated Gulf South Conference for Mississippi College 6-1 on the road on Saturday morning.
The Warhawks conclude the regular season with a victory and finish the year with an 11-6 record with a 6-3 mark inside Gulf South Conference action. The Warhawks will be the fourth seed in the upcoming tournament and will square off against West Alabama in the first round.
AUM's day got started the right way as the Warhawks were able to sweep the doubles point, winning all three courts. The Orange & Black cruised in singles play as well, earning wins in the first through fifth court to secure the 6-1 victory.
