MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Auburn University at Montgomery softball senior Jaycie Walker has won Warhawk of The Week for her exceptional weekend against Gulf South Conference foe Mississippi College.

This is the first time in 2021 that Walker has won Warhawk of The Week.

Walker had a great weekend against the Lady Choctaws and helped AUM clinch their first berth in the GSC Championships. In three games, Walker went 5-11 (.454 avg) with three home runs and six runs batted in. On the season, Walker has raised her average to .312 with eight home runs and 27 RBIs.

The No. 23-ranked Warhawks will return home this weekend to square off against GSC rival Montevallo for a three-game series.
