MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team dominated Gulf South Conference rival Montevallo on Wednesday afternoon 5-2 to run their win streak to six matches after the road win.
The Warhawks, who are receiving votes in the national polls, run their record to 9-5 on the year with a 5-2 GSC record. Montevallo, meanwhile, falls to 3-8 in 2021 with a 2-3 mark in Gulf South play.
AUM dominated doubles play to start the match against the Falcons, taking all three courts easily from Montevallo. The Warhawks were able to clinch the match with three consecutive singles victories before falling in the fourth and fifth court.

The Orange & Black will return home for the final time in 2021 when they host Gulf South Conference foe Lee on Saturday, April 10 at 10 a.m. The team will honor senior Jimenez before the start of Friday's match.
