AUM started the first set on a high note, racing out to a 5-2 lead over the Sunshine State Conference foe. The Bucs, however, would come back to tie the game at 11 before capturing the next four points to take a 15-11 lead. The Warhawks would fight back to take a 22-21 lead in the late stages of the first, but Barry finished with four unanswered points to take the first set.

Set two featured the two teams splitting the first 10 points of the set. Barry broke the tie, registering the next four points to take a 9-5 lead. The Warhawks cut the lead to 11-9 after Giada Pais-Marden's kill, but the Bucs took the next five points and ran away with a 25-19 set two win.

The first set against the Sharks was a set of runs for both sides. After an early 5-2 lead by AUM, Nova sprang for five consecutive points to take a 7-5 lead. A Whittlesey kill cut the lead down to 13-14, but the Sharks tallied eight of the next nine points to take a 22-14 lead, and would the home team would win the first set 25-19.

Nova Southeastern continued their push into the second set, beginning the game with a 9-6 lead over AUM. Later in the set, the Warhawks would storm back to take a 16-15 lead over the Sharks and eventually held a 24-23 lead over Nova, but the Sharks closed the set with three straight points to take a 2-0 lead over the Orange & Black.

The Sharks jumped out to another lead to start the third set, taking a 10-6 lead over the Warhawks. AUM was able to cut the lead down to 8-12, but the third set was totally controlled by Nova Southeastern as they took the set 25-13 and the match 3-0.
