James Graham tallied his first double-double of the season and three other players scored double-figure points, but it was not enough as the Auburn University at Montgomery men's basketball team fell 80-72 against Florida Tech at the South Region Tip-Off Challenge.
Graham registered 17 points and 14 rebounds in 24 minutes of action. Travis Anderson (16),
Roderick Smith (13), and Joseph Lanzi (10) all also scored in double figures.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The Panthers opened up a 17-7 lead with 14:35 to play in the first half behind a pair of three-pointers.
- Florida Tech maintained a double-digit lead for much of the first half, pushing ahead by as much as 12 at the 7:09 in the first half.
- A three-point play from Graham with 1:30 to go in the opening half cut the lead to five, but the Panthers used a 6-0 push to lead 42-31 at the lead.
- Travis Anderson hit a layup at the 3:40 mark of the second half to trim the lead to six, 71-65.
- Florida Tech immediately responded with a 5-0 run by Sean Houpt (a three-pointer and a layup) to put the game out of reach.
NOTABLES
- Graham, the second-leading rebounder in the Gulf South Conference last season, put up his first double-double of the season.
- A day removed from shooting north of 50 percent from the floor, AUM shot just 34 percent from the field against the Panthers.
- AUM out-rebounded their opponent for the second straight game. The Warhawks grabbed 44 rebounds to Florida Tech's 33.
- Anderson totaled 16 points, six rebounds, and two assists.
- Smith had 13 points and nine rebounds, and Lanzi added double-digit points (10) for the second straight games.
