Georgia College Defeats Women's Basketball 64-49

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball team dropped a nonconference game at Georgia College on Thursday afternoon by a final score of 64-49 inside the Centennial Center.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Keeley Tini made a pair of free throws early in the contest to give AUM their only lead of the game at 6-5. GC made a layup two possessions later to retake the lead. 
  • Allasha Dudley scored a layup to cut the Bobcat lead to seven with three seconds left on the clock in the first quarter. 
  • Dudley cut the lead to eight in the second quarter and the Bobcats responded with a 5-0 run to close the first half leading 35-22. 
  • AUM was not able to cut the lead to single digits in the second half as the Bobcats went on to win 64-49. 
NOTABLES
  • Keeley Tini scored a season-high of 16 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field and she was 6-of-6 from the charity stripe. Tini grabbed six rebounds. 
  • Allasha Dudley scored 12 points and brought down six rebounds. Dudley dished out four assists. 
  • Jemeriah Moore tallied nine points and had eight rebounds. She finished with three assists and three steals. 
  • AUM turned the ball over only 10 times which was the least amount of turnovers this season. 
  • The Warhawks did not hit a three-pointer in the game.
  • The Bobcats were led by Ashyia Willis who scored 16 points and Jada Warren who grabbed 12 rebounds. 
  • GC outrebounded AUM 51-41.
