BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Isaiah Hart of the Auburn Montgomery Men's Basketball Team has been named the recipient of the final Gulf South Conference Player of the Week award for the 2021-22 season. It was announced by the conference office on Monday (Feb. 28).
 
Hart (Morrow, Ga.) averaged 24 points over a pair of wins for AUM last week, highlighted by a 40-point performance in the Warhawks' 85-72 victory over Montevallo on Feb. 26 in their season finale. The senior guard shot 14-23 on Saturday while finishing the week shooting 49 percent (16-33).
 
Hart's 40 points scored marks for the highest single-game total by a GSC player this season and the most in a game by a Warhawk since the 2019-20 season. Monday's announcement marks for the second time this season that Hart has been named the GSC Player of the Week.
