MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The 44
th-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team dropped a 4-1 home non-conference match to 12
th-ranked Southern Arkansas at the AUM Tennis Complex on Thursday afternoon.
The Warhawks fall to one game above .500 at 7-6 while the Muleriders rise to 12-3 in 2022. This was AUM's first home match since February 25.
After dropping the first doubles flight,
David Mulas and
Thibault Jacq were able to keep the Warhawks alive momentarily in doubles after a 6-4 win over the 41
st-best pairing in the nation. AUM was only able to get a singles point from
Joao Guariente as the Warhawks dropped the match 4-1.

The Warhawks will look to rebound in their next match on Saturday in AUM's return to Gulf South Conference play against Delta State. The action against the Statesmen is set to begin at 10 a.m.
