CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The 27
th-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team won their third straight match and recorded their second straight shutout with a 7-0 win over Gulf South Conference foe Lee on Friday afternoon.
The Warhawks climb to 11-4 on the year after winning their third-straight contest. AUM also moves to a perfect 5-0 in Gulf South Conference action. The Flames, meanwhile, drop to 5-9 in 2022 with a 3-5 mark in conference action.
AUM controlled every part of the match against the Lady Flames. The Warhawks saw victories in the third and second flights to clinch the doubles point, then proceeded to sweep every singles court to take the match 7-0.
