MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Phillip Spickenbaum scored a pair of goals for the Auburn University at Montgomery men's soccer team, and three different players added an assist as the Warhawks collected their second Gulf South Conference win of the season.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Phillip Spickenbaum put the Warhawks on top less than eight minutes into the contest when he converted a Renan Diniz pass into the game's first goal.
• For the second goal of the game, AUM converted on a set piece. Logan Roach curled a corner kick into the box that found the head of Jamos Hauk, who bounced the ball into the back of the net to add his first goal of the season.
• AUM outshot the Bulldogs 9-1 in the first as they held a 2-0 lead at the half.
• Union pulled within a goal in the 51st minute when Alpay Altuntas hammered a pass from Stan De Vries into the back of the net to make it 2-1. 
• The Warhawks controlled the final third of the game, and Spickenbaum found his second goal in the 61st minute. A Landon Surratt throw-in from the home sideline found the head of Spickenbaum, who wiggled a shot off the side post and in for a 3-1 advantage.

STATS OF THE GAME

• Diniz, Roach, and Surratt all tallied their first assists of the season for AUM.
• Spickenbaum now has three goals in GSC play, which is tied for fourth in the league.
• AUM out-shot Union 16-6, including 7-2 in shots on goal.
